Craig has over 20 years of Location Based Services (LBS) and geospatial applications development experience.
He founded Spatial Minds, LLC in 2004 where he enjoys helping clients design and develop LBS applications and solutions.  He primarily works on C++/ Qt / Objective-C mobile & desktop apps, node.js / Java middleware, and geospatial databases.  In short, Craig codes apps with maps.


Craig has had the opportunity to work with Digia/The Qt Company, Nokia, Autodesk Location Services, Ericsson, Verizon, Telefon Italia Mobile, and other major players in the Location Services space.  In 2005 he earned an LBS related patent on "Meeting Location Determination Using Spatio-Semantic Modeling".  He holds an MS in Spatial Information Science and Engineering and has done geospatial related research at the University of Maine National Center for Geographic Information Analysis (NCGIA), Battelle Pacific Northwest National Labs (PNNL) Remote Sensing Group, and at the US Forest Service Wenatchee Forestry Sciences Lab.  Craig is the co-founder of the Seattle Qt User group, an active member of the Cascadia Users of Geospatial Open Source (CUGOS), and has won numerous geospatial/location services related awards and honors.  With over 20 years of experience in the geospatial domain he has hands on experience and formal training in nearly all aspects of wired and wireless enterprise, carrier, mobile, and desktop location based solutions.
